Why I Stoped Using Launchers On My Smartphones

Hello friends,

Today I am going to share my personal experience with Launchers for the Android phone.

I still remember my first phone. It was QMobile Soap E900, It was a Java phone and I fell in love with this phone. I used that phone overnight till the phone battery went low. It was the golden era of java phones.

After several years, Android phones came into the market and many peoples upgraded their phones to Android. I also upgraded my phone and bought my first Android phone QMobile Bolt A4 which comes with 4-inches 800p display, 256 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM.

I was very new to Android OS, so I started to download and install Android apps on my brand new phone to discover what an Android phone can do.

As I mentioned that my phone had 256 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM, so the phone lagging is very common. In the beginning, I don't even know the actual reason for phone lagging, but gradually I discovered the most common reasons for phone lagging.

I installed different Launchers on my brand new phone to beautify it but due to the low memory of RAM/ROM, my phone started lagging.

What I Discovered

  • Launchers beautify your smartphones but may lag your phones.
  • Launchers use the RAM as long as you keep active the launcher, so use launchers if your mobile has enough RAM (> 1GB).
  • Don't use launchers on your phone having RAM less than 1GB.
  • Use RAM manager to accelerate your phone and clean the junk files.

Conclusion

When I discovered the actual reasons for phone lagging, I upgraded my Android phone. I bought a new one which comes with 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM, which is quite enough to run the Launchers.

So in conclusion, launchers are not made for every smartphone.
